Our Materials
Conflict-free
In 2002, the Kimberley Process was established by a coalition of governments, non-governmental organizations, and the diamond industry. This process controls the export and import of rough diamonds to eliminate the trade in conflict diamonds.
It's imperative to our jewelry making process that we ethically source all of our materials, including conflict-free diamonds.
We take this a step further than just adhering to the Kimberly initiative:
- Diamonds that are mined must obey environmental and labor standards
- Diamonds that are free from child labor and labor exploitation
- Diamonds that are not tied to violence of any kind
- Diamonds that are not tied to or responsible in financing any corruption
Lab created diamonds
In addition to ethical diamonds, we also provide lab created diamonds.
Lab created diamonds are eco-friendly socially conscious. By cutting out the mining process, they have very little environmental impact which makes them a terrific sustainable option. These diamonds have the same chemical and optical properties as natural diamonds but are grown in laboratory environments with incredible technology that allows them to undergo the same conditions as they would in the wild.
